Clan Badge Macintyre

This Scottish Clan Crested Badge honours the proud heritage of Clan MacIntyre. Crafted as a traditional Scottish accessory, it measures approximately 3.5'' in diameter and features a secure safety pin fastening on the back, making it ideal for wearing on caps, jackets, scarves, or Highland dress.
In historic times, Clan Chiefs wore a distinctive emblem on their helmets so their followers could recognise them amid the chaos of battle. This emblem - the Chief’s Crest - sits atop his Full Coat of Arms. Anyone sharing the Chief’s surname is considered a Clansman and may wear the Crest enclosed within a Strap and Buckle Garter to signify loyalty. Many Clans also include Septs: families with different surnames but descended from the Chief through the female line. Anyone with a Sept or Clan ancestor has the right to proudly wear or display the Crest Badge.
